Dad once told me, you don't have to care about what other people say about what your good friend did. So long as she/he is your good friend, and she/he didn't do any nasty stuff to you, she/he is still your good friend. You needn't change your impression about her/him, you needn't break the friendship.

I find it very true. But if my good friend do nasty stuff to me, then the situations are different. Right? :)
